POSSIBLE REASONS YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS: 

CAN'T LOCATE AN ADDRESS?

Numeric avenues must be entered as a number, not written out. 
Example:  2080 1st Avenue is correct, not 2080 First Avenue .

CAN'T LOCATE A DUPLEX?

A duplex with two addresses such as 709-711 Overland Trail needs
to be entered as 709.11 Overland Trail .

CAN'T LOCATE A CONDOMINIUM?

Condominium units with alpha extensions, need to be entered in the
following manner:  1437C Cheyenne Avenue .

Condominium units with numeric extensions should be entered with 
only the building address.  To find Unit 102 at 2401 Chateau 
Court, you would enter:  2401 Chateau Court in your search.  A 
listing of the tax key numbers appears for all the units.  The 
unit numbers are part of that tax key number.  Examples:  
10-127-2401-101, 10-127-2401-102 (Unit 102), 10-127-2401-103

CAN'T LOCATE AN APARTMENT BUILDING OR COMMERCIAL PROJECT?

Apartment buildings with alpha units (A,B,C, etc.) need to be 
entered in the following manner:  1545A-F Delaware Avenue .

A large commercial project or an apartment project might have
numerous addresses such as 2101-2133 14th Avenue.  To locate 2109 
14th Avenue, you will need to enter 2101.33 14th Avenue .  That is
the address range of the entire project. 

CAN'T LOCATE A TAX KEY NUMBER?

Tax key numbers need to be entered with dashes in the correct 
spaces instead of periods.  The tax key number 10-190-0046-000 
cannot be entered as 10-190-0046.000 even though this is the way 
it appears on the tax bill. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Assessment Division has limited information on industrial 
properties.  Industrial assessments are conducted by the State of 
Wisconsin Department of Revenue.  If additional information is 
needed, contact the WI Department of Revenue, Bureau of 
Manufacturing and Telco Assessment at 414-227-4456.

If you cannot locate a specific address, you can obtain a more 
detailed address listing by returning to the home page and 
using the download version of GPROP, the assessment program.  
In that program, street names are typed in first and you then get 
a listing with all the addresses on that street.
